When choosing a dedicated server you can opt to have your server managed or unmanaged by the web hosting company. With a managed server, you may receive services such as site administration, certain software installation, maintenance and upgrades. I’ve discovered that Internet Explorer works for updating text in your Tripod account! I was using Firefox and couldn’t edit text. I went months without being able to update my domain and was frustrated!! I found out that by using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox ended my frustration and solved my problem! Hope this helps others like me who felt helpless about updating their domains!
I was told that when FF added updates, one of them wasn’t compatible with Tripod which was what caused the problem and the only way to be able to edit was to go through Internet Explorer.
