Lim asked:

As we know, ARPA was the first internet created. But the first registered (.net) domain was not arpa.net. And how do ICANN took the right to accredit registrars? And when there was no registrars during the early 1980s, how do those “oldest domains” been registered? Where did ICANN registered its domain? so were they using IPs to browse the net before “domain name” was recognized and how? as we know the Mosaic web browser was introduced in 1993? And the last thing is, the first web server was run on 1989 by CERN. How do all these be connected?

I know what I mentioned is not very clear, but is there anybody can understand what I mean? thanks.
